How to create a follow-up job

Occasionally, a job might be marked as complete, but there’s an outstanding defect that needs attention. Not to worry, our system is designed to handle exactly this situation with ease.

First, you’ll need to revisit the original job entry. This is your starting point to resolving any lingering issues.

Next, look for the ‘Create Follow-Up Job’ button. Clicking this will generate a new job assignment directly linked to the original task. This ensures continuity and makes tracking progress a breeze.

The new job can then be assigned to a mechanic. This is where the magic happens—your mechanic will have all the information and context needed to rectify the defect efficiently.

And there’s more—our system allows for detailed communication. Feel free to add any additional instructions or information the mechanic might need by using the ‘Internal Notes’ section. This feature is incredibly helpful for providing context or specific instructions tailored to the job at hand.

This process not only ensures that defects are addressed promptly but also streamlines communication between your team members. It’s an essential tool for maintaining quality control and ensuring customer satisfaction.

To recap, addressing unrectified defects is simple and efficient with our system. Remember, the ‘Create Follow-Up Job’ feature is your go-to for ensuring every job meets your high standards. Thank you for watching, and please feel free to leave your feedback or questions below. We’re here to help!”
